The Edmonton Oilers will travel to the Xcel Energy Center to take on the Minnesota Wild in the NHL on Thursday. Minnesota defeated the Arizona Coyotes 4-3 in their last game. Goals from Kirill Kaprizov, Matt Boldy, Jared Spurgeon and Sam Steel were enough to get the Wild over the line and register their 10th win of the season.

The Edmonton Oilers on the other hand come into this game on the back of a 5-4 win over the Chicago Blackhawks in their last game. Two goals from Leon Draisaitl and a goal each from Mattias Janmark, Connor McDavid and Ryan Nugent-Hopkins got them the win in a closely contested match where Oilers goaltender, Stuart Skinner made 21 saves and finished the game with a save percentage of .840.
