The Detroit Red Wings on the other hand come into this game on the back of a 1-0 loss to the Carolina Hurricanes. Lucas Raymond had four shots on goal while Jake Walman had three shots but they were not able to get past Pyotr Kochetkov in the Carolina goal as he finished the game with 27 saves. The result meant that Detroit lost their ninth game of the season.
