Stone made his NHL regular-season debut nearly one year later, on March 6, 2013, against the Toronto Maple Leafs. He scored his first NHL goal on January 4, 2014, against Carey Price of the Montreal Canadiens. Stone was selected to Canada’s junior team for the 2012 World Junior Championships, held in Alberta.
