The game between the Los Angeles Kings and New York Rangers will take place at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, California on Tuesday, November 22 at 10:30 PM ET.
The Los Angeles Kings will welcome the New York Rangers to Crypto.com Arena for an NHL game on Tuesday. Los Angeles lost their last game 3-2 against the Seattle Kraken. Phillip Danault and Trevor Moore scored the two goals for Los Angeles as they lost their eighth win of the season.
Kings goaltender Cal Petersen spoke after the game and said, “Especially on a back-to-back, you obviously want to do everything you can to tighten it up and make it a hard-fought game and give us a chance down the stretch. We did go into overtime, but obviously disappointing not to get the extra point.”
The New York Rangers on the other hand defeated the San Jose Sharks 2-1 in their last game. Goals from Adam Fox and Julien Gauthier scored the goals for the Rangers as they registered their ninth win of the season. Goaltender Igor Shesterkin saved 22 of the 23 shots aimed at him and finished the game with a save percentage of .957.
Rangers coach Gerard Gallant said after the game, “We were a little frustrated, the puck didn’t go in the net. Trust me, but they didn’t lose their focus. They kept pushing and pushing because they were playing well, and the chances were there. There were a lot of Grade A chances and Reimer made some great saves.”
