The Los Angeles Kings will welcome the Calgary Flames to Crypto.com Arena for an NHL game on Thursday. The Kings won 4-1 against the Ducks in their last game. Alex Iafallo, Viktor Arvidsson and Kevin Fiala scored as the Los Angeles Kings beat the Anaheim Ducks 4-1 on Tuesday night for their third straight win. The Kings won three straight games for the second time this season, and Pheonix Copley made 24 saves to join teammate
Jonathan Quick in winning three consecutive starts. Quick’s wins came Nov. 5-10 during a four-game win streak. “It doesn’t look like he’s panicking at any point. He’s just making saves, and he’s getting up and doing it all over again. … I think that makes us feel comfortable,” coach Todd McLellan said of Copley, who improved to 5-1-0.
The Flames on the other hand won 3-7 against the Sharks in their last game. Tyler Toffoli and Dillon Dube both scored in the first 30 seconds, Nazem Kadri got the go-ahead goal midway through the third period and the Calgary Flames beat the San Jose Sharks 7-3 on Tuesday night.
Toffoli finished with two goals and an assist, and Kadri also scored twice. Trevor Lewis and Milan Lucic had the other goals for the Flames, who scored four unanswered in the final 9:56 after the game was tied at 3. “(Elias Lindholm) won three faceoffs clean in a row, and our defense jumped, and away we went,” Calgary coach Darryl Sutter said.
