The game between the Edmonton Oilers and St Louis Blues will take place at Rogers Place in Edmonton, Canada on Saturday, October 22 at 4:00 PM ET.
The Edmonton Oilers will welcome the St Louis Blues to Rogers place for an NHL game on Saturday. Edmonton won their last game 6-4 against the Caroline Hurricanes with goals from Connor McDavid, Ryan Nugent-Hopkins, Leon Draisaitl, Zach Hyman, Evander Kane and Ryan McLeod sealing the deal. Goaltender Jack Campbell saved 36 shots and finished the game with a save percentage of .900.
McDavid, who scored a goal, said after the game, “It was a big win for our group. It was a great test against a really good Carolina team, and they gave us everything that we could handle. Soup made some big saves and our power play did its thing. It was a big win, a bit ugly, but we’ll take it. Being 2-2 is nothing to write home about, but we’ll take it.”
The St Louis Blues on the other hand won their last game 4-3 against the Seattle Kraken after it went into overtime. Justin Faulk was the hero as he scored his second goal of the game in overtime and won it for St Louis. Brayden Schenn and Jordan Kyrou were the other goal scorers for the Blues.
Vladimir Tarasenko finished the game with three assists and Justin Faulk was full of praise for the right winger. Speaking after the game, Faulk said, “He’s dangerous. I think it attracts a lot of attention. He could shoot and score from anywhere. So anytime that puck’s on his stick he probably creates more space for his teammates and finds opportunities for them. When they’re dangerous players like that, teams have to take notice and be aware.”
