Both clubs are off to strong beginnings to the season as the Minnesota Wild and Dallas Stars square battle. The Stars have a record of 14-6-4 and have won back-to-back games, while the Wild have a record of 12-9-2 and are on a three-game winning streak. The upcoming game appears to be a great one because both teams want to keep up their strong starts in the Central Division and the Western Conference.

With an attack that has carried the Wild recently, scoring 3.00 goals per game with 14 goals in the previous three games, they are enjoying a fantastic season. The top two lines, Kirill Kaprizov, Mats Zuccarello, and Joel Eriksson Ek, have combined for 29 goals and 42 assists, but the rest of the attack has also performed admirably. The top two lines, Jason Robertson, Roope Hintz, and Jamie Benn, have combined for 40 goals and 91 assists, but the rest of the attack has also been quite strong. Defenseman Miro Heiskanen has added three goals and 16 assists from the point to help open up the offense, while Joe Pavelski, Tyler Seguin, and Mason Marchment have combined for a total of 21 goals and 36 assists.
