The Dallas Stars will play the Arizona Coyotes at BOK Center for an NHL preseason game on Tuesday. Dallas lost their first preseason game 4-0 to the St Louis Blues on Monday. Star man and captain of the Dallas Stars, Jamie Benn had four shots on goal but could not find the back of the net. Stars head coach Peter DeBoer was not too fussed about the result and said, “It’s early. As preseason progresses here, there’s going to be more importance placed on winning.”
The Arizona Coyotes on the other hand come into this game on the back of a 3-2 loss to the Anaheim Ducks. Forwards Christian Fischer and Liam O’Brien scored one goal each while Fischer and Conor Timmins dished out one assist each. Arizona head coach André Tourigny said after the game, “I wish we would have tied the game at the end, but that was good to be in front of our fans, and our people.”
