The Colorado Avalanche will welcome the Los Angeles Kings to Ball Arena for an NHL game on Wednesday. The Avalanche lost 6-3 against the Coyotes in their last game. Evan Rodrigues, Cale Makar and Mikko Rantanen scored for the Avalanche, who have lost three straight to Arizona for the first time in nine seasons.
Colorado is 6-3-1 since forward Nathan MacKinnon went out with an upper-body injury Dec. 5.”Our checking game wasn’t good from the get-go,” Colorado coach Jared Bednar said. “The urgency in our game didn’t pick up until the third period, and then it is too late.”
The Kings on the other hand won 4-2 against the Blues in their last game. Viktor Arvidsson, Phillip Danault, Alex Iafallo, Gabriel Vilardi scored 1 goal each for the Kings.
