The match between the Chicago Blackhawks vs St Louis Blues will take place at United Center in Chicago, Illinois on Tuesday, September 27 at 8:30 PM ET.
The Chicago Blackhawks meet the St Louis Blues on Tuesday at the United Center. The NHL preseason has begun, and the St. Louis Blues are back in play. The Blues will have a few weeks to pick things up before they face the Columbus Blue Jackets on Oct. 15 when the league resumes its regular schedule. Even after all of this, there are still uncertainties regarding the Blues roster and who gets to play. With so many contenders, they will be selected over the next weeks.
In Wichita, Kansas, the Blues and Arizona Coyotes played in a shootout for the first preseason game. Despite being down 4-3 midway in the third quarter, the Blues came back to win it 5-4. Jordan Binnington and Joel Hofer split time between the goalies. Hofer stopped nine of 12 shots, while Binnington stopped seven of eight. Many prospective roster players for the Blues were on the ice during this game, but Jake Neighbours and Logan Brown really stood out.
The Blues’ preseason resumes this week with four additional games. Prior to their six days off and the start of the season versus the Blue Jackets, they will have three more the following week. On Saturday, they will compete against the Stars in Independence, Missouri at Cable Dahmer Arena, the ECHL’s Kansas City Mavericks’ home. The Blues will continue to assess prospective roster players and prospects this week.
