The Buffalo Sabres will welcome the Philadelphia Flyers to KeyBank Center for an NHL game on Monday. The Sabres won 6-5 against the wild in their last game. Rasmus Dahlin had two goals and three assists, Victor Olofsson also scored twice — including the winner, as the Buffalo Sabres beat the Minnesota Wild 6-5 on Saturday night. Tage Thompson and Dylan Cozens also scored for the Sabres, who have won eight of their last nine. Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen had 39 saves.

It’s the third straight win in which the Sabres lost a lead and came back to get the victory in overtime. “We’ve seen a couple times now, so we know we can do it,” Dahlin said. “How everyone reacts on the bench is just amazing. No one gets frustrated or stressed about it. We just keep going and we have so many skilled and talented players. If we get one chance we will score.”

The Flyers on the other hand lost 2-6 against the Leafs in their last game. Carter Hart had 29 saves. Tortorella benched defenseman Tony DeAngelo after just one shift in the second period. DeAngelo, who is third on the Flyers in points with 23, committed a turnover when he misplayed the puck deep in Philadelphia’s zone on Aston-Reese’s first-period tally that made it 2-0.

“I’m not going to discuss it here,” Tortorella said tersely when asked why he sat DeAngelo. I’m not going to talk if it’s justified or not,” DeAngelo said. “I didn’t have a good first period or start to the second period. It won’t be the last time I have a bad game or get sat. I’m not going to go crazy into it. No player ever agrees with getting sat, but we aren’t here to question the coach.”
