The game between the Boston Bruins and Winnipeg Jets will take place at TD Garden on Thursday, December 22 at 7:00 PM ET.
The Boston Bruins will welcome the Winnipeg Jets to TD Garden for an NHL game on Thursday. The Bruins won 7-3 against the Panthers in their last game. Patrice Bergeron scored a pair of third-period insurance goals after Boston almost blew a 4-0 lead, and the Bruins improved to 17-0-2 at home. Bergeron also had a pair of assists, and Linus Ullmark stopped 36 shots to earn his 10th consecutive win.
The Bruins opened a 4-0 lead early in the second period before the Panthers scored three times in five minutes to make it a one-goal game. “If we can learn as we win, it’s better than learning when you lose. But then, the losses will come,” Montgomery said with a laugh, “and we’ll learn better.”
The Jets on the other hand won 5-1 against the Senators in their last game. Morrissey had a goal and assist, and Kyle Connor scored twice and added one helper, as the Jets downed the Ottawa Senators 5-1 on Tuesday.
Connor and Morrissey both extended their point streaks to 10 games. Morrissey also reached a career-high for points with 38. “He has elite hockey IQ, that’s what he has,” Bowness said of Morrissey. “Elite players are one step ahead, that’s what they see.”
