The game between the Anaheim Ducks and Minnesota Wild will take place at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California on February 17 at 10:00 PM ET.
The Anaheim Ducks will welcome the Minnesota Wild to the Honda Center for an NHL game. Anaheim were soundly beaten by the Florida Panthers 5-3 in their last game. Goals from Ryan Strome, Adam Henrique and Isac Lundeström were not enough as the Ducks lost their eighth game of the season.
Ducks head coach Dallas Eakins said after the game, “The second period is a period that we’re very capable of. That’s how we have to play and we show spurts of it which shows that you can do it. The challenge is to choose to do it each and every shift, every period. That’s what we have to do.”
The Minnesota Wild on the other hand lost to the Los Angeles Kings 1-0 in their last game. Matt Boldy and Kirill Kaprizov had 4 and 3 shots on target but were not able to find a way past Jonathan Quick in the Kings net.
Dean Evason, coach of Minnesota said after the game, “We did a lot of good things in this hockey game. We just didn’t get there, but our group played well enough to, I hate to say deserved better, but we should have been in a better position at the end.”
