Casey Hayward Jr. is regarded by many as one of the modern greats and plays as a football cornerback in the National Football League (NFL). He was born on 9 September,1989 in Perry, Georgia and currently plays for the Atlanta Falcons. He played college football for the Vanderbilt University football team where he began his career as cornerback. During his first season in 2009, he was named the team’s most valuable defensive back and also received the defensive player of the week award against LSU after providing 13 tackles with 4 for a loss. In his second season, he received a spot in the All-SEC as a defensive back by the coaches and media. In the last season, Hayward tied the career record for interceptions at 15 with Leonard Coleman. He also made 62 tackles, and had seven interceptions. He was named a mid-season All-American by Sports Illustrated and was also named a second-team All-American by the Walter Camp Foundation. He wears the #26 jersey for the Atlanta Falcons.

Casey Hayward Jr. started his professional career in 2012 signing for the Green Bay Packers and played for them till 2106. He also played for the San Diego Chargers, Las Vegas Raiders and the Atlanta Falcons. He won the Pro Bowl twice times and also was rewarded with the Second-team All-Pro twice. He received the NFL Interceptions Leader Award in 2016 and also had his name in the PFWA All-Rookie Team in 2012. He was also in the Second-team All-SEC in 2011.
