The Buccaneers come into this game on the back of a 20-10 win over the New Orleans Saints in their last game and as a result sit at the top of the NFC South table with a 2-0 record. Tom Brady passed for 190 yards and had one touchdown pass as he completed 18 of his 34 passes. Wide receiver Breshad Perriman ran for 45 yards and scored one touchdown.
After the game, Tom Brady said, “It’s an emotional game. A little bit of execution helps all the way around. I thought the defense played well again and the offensive line fought hard. Tough game all around. That is a really good team, really well coached, a team we really struggle with. So, it feels good to win.”
On the other hand, the Green Bay Packers come into this game on the back of a 27-10 win over the Chicago Bears and sit in second place on the NFC North table with a 1-1 record. Aaron Rodgers passed for 234 yards and had two touchdown passes as he completed 19 of his 25 passes. Running back Aaron Jones ran for 170 yards and scored two touchdowns while Allen Lazard scored one touchdown.
After the game, Aaron Rodgers said, “Tonight was really about 28 (AJ Dillon) and 33 (Aaron Jones), getting them the football. I didn’t play great. I feel like the stats look a little better than the game. I missed some throws that I should never miss. There were some opportunities for more points out there.”
