Jalen Hurts threw for 243 yards as he completed 18 of his 32 passes and scored one touchdown as he rushed for 90 yards. Miles Sanders, Kenneth Gainwell and Boston Scott all scored one touchdown each as the Eagles recorded a narrow win.
Jalen Hurts was in a very good mood following the win and performed admirably as he threw away many passes to avoid sacks. After the game, a clearly elated Hurts said, “We had a lot of broken plays, a lot of throwaways. As a quarterback, that is the best play sometimes.”
On the other hand, the Minnesota Vikings come into this game on the back of a 23-7 win over the Green Bay Packers in their last game. Quarterback Kirk Cousins threw for 277 yards and had two touchdown passes as he completed 23 of his 32 passes. Wide receiver Justin Jefferson ran for 184 yards and scored two touchdowns as the Vikings recorded an easy victory over Aaron Rodgers’ Green Bay Packers.
After the game, Justin Jefferson was hyped and could not hold back his happiness as he scored two touchdowns. He said, “I live for these type of big games. I was definitely excited to get out there. I’m glad I had this kind of start.”
