The Las Vegas Raiders will welcome the Arizona Cardinals to Allegiant Stadium for an NFL game on Sunday. The Raiders come into this game on the back of a 24-19 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers in their last game. Quarterback Derek Carr passed for 295 yards and had two touchdown passes and three interceptions as he completed 22 of his 37 passes. Davante Adams ran for 141 yards and scored one touchdown while Brandon Bolden ran for 21 yards and recorded one touchdown of his own.
Raiders head coach Josh McDaniels took some positives despite the loss and said that his team will learn from this experience and come back stronger. Speaking after the game, McDaniels said, “Obviously, it’s difficult to win, and when you lose the turnover margin the way that we did and give them opportunities. They took advantage of some of those, especially there in the second quarter. I like the way our team fought. I respect the fact that we made it a game. We can do a lot better than what we did.”
On the other hand, the Arizona Cardinals come into this game on the back of a 44-21 drubbing at the hands of the Kansas City Chiefs. Kyler Murray passed for 193 yards and had two touchdown passes as he completed 22 of his 34 passes while James Conner, Marquise Brown and Zach Ertz scored one touchdown each as the Cardinals got swept by the Chiefs.
Kyler Murray, who had a good game with two touchdown passes spoke after the game and challenged his teammates to respond in the right manner. Murray said, “You can either start sulking about it or look in the mirror for what it is. It’s a long season. We got punched in the mouth. How do you respond?”
