Kansas City Chiefs vs Green Bay Packers will take place at Arrowhead Stadium for an NFL preseason game on Thursday. The Chiefs come into this game on the back of a 24-14 win over the Washington Nationals. It was a great outing for Patrick Mahomes as he passed for 162 yards and had two touchdowns to his name. Shane Buechele passed for 70 yards and Dustin Crum passed for 27 yards for the win.

Running back Tayon Fleet Davis had one touchdown and Jody Fortson had two as the Chiefs recorded a comfortable win. Patrick Mahomes was full of praise for Jody Fortson after the game and said, “I think you’ve seen what Jody is. When he’s one on one and he has a guy behind him, you can give him that chance. I have that trust with him now. He wasn’t necessarily open, but when you have a big guy who can make those physical, tough catches, you give him a chance.”
On the other hand, the Packers come into this game on the back of a 20-10 win over the New Orleans Saints in their last game. With Aaron Rodgers still not featuring, quarterback Jordan Love took over the passing mantle and had a good game as he passed for 113 yards with one touchdown whereas fellow quarterback Danny Etling ran for 48 yards and completed one touchdown.
Wide receiver Romeo Doubs ran for 24 yards and had one touchdown in what was a good game for the Packers. Head coach Matt LaFleur was full of praise for Romeo Doubs and said after the game, “I think he’s light years ahead of where he was a year ago. I think if you asked our guys in that locker room, every one of them would tell you they’ve got a lot of confidence in him. I think we would all agree in that locker room that he’s one of the most improved guys over the last year.”
