Houston Texans vs San Francisco 49ers will take place at NRG Stadium for an NFL preseason game on Thursday. The Texans come into this game on the back of a 24-20 win over defending Super Bowl champions Los Angeles Rams. All three quarterbacks had a great game as they all recorded touchdowns. Davis Mills passed for 96 yards while Kyle Allen and Jeff Driskel passed for 71 and 17 yards each.

Wide receiver Nico Collins had one touchdown and he ran for 48 yards. The two tight ends Mason Schreck and Teagan Quitoriano had one touchdown each in what was a great game for the team from Houston. Davis Mills was in an upbeat mood after the win and said, “It was awesome. Obviously made some big-time plays. Didn’t have much going on before that, so it was nice to end the half with a score. We’re confident when we’re spreading the ball around like that and the O-line is protecting, we can go up against anyone.”
On the other hand, the 49ers come into this game on the back of a 17-7 win over the Minnesota Kings last week. Quarterback Nate Sudfeld had a great game as he passed for 102 yards and had one touchdown. He led a 14-play, 79-yard drive for a go-ahead touchdown early in the fourth quarter and won the game for his team. The other quarterback Brock Purdy played well too as he passed for 128 yards.
49ers Kyle Shanahan spoke after the game about how his starting quarterbacks did a great job and also took time out to praise the backups too. He said, “Brock’s done a good job every time he’s gotten his opportunity. I thought Nate did some real good things tonight and last week, too. But I like both of those guys and we’ll see how it finishes up.”
