Green Bay Packers vs New Orleans Saints will take place at Lambeau Field for an NFL preseason game on Friday. The Packers come into this game on the back of a 28-21 loss to the San Franciso 49ers last week. Wide receivers Romeo Doubs, Danny Davis III and Amari Rodgers had one touchdown each as Green Bay recorded 21 points.

Quarterback Jordan Love had an impressive game against the 49ers as he passed for 176 yards and made two touchdowns and had three interceptions. He was in a reflective mood after the match and gave an honest assessment of what happened on the field. He said, “I think for everybody, it could have been a better night,” Love said. “The ball just happens to bounce a weird way. They capitalized on those plays. Obviously, no one wants that to happen, and it sucks when it does. It’s something to learn from.”
On the other hand, the Saints come into this game on the back of a 17-13 loss to the Houston Texans. Quarterback Andy Dalton successfully completed all his passes and had one touchdown and also passed for 51 yards. Wide receiver Dwayne Washington had one touchdown and ran for 18 yards as he caught the ball three times.
New Orleans coach Dennis Allen was not too pleased with how his players played but said he saw encouraging signs as he looks to improve his team’s fortunes. After the game, he said, “I saw a lot of things I really liked out there. There are some things we’ve got to get cleaned up. The ball was on the ground too many times. We’ve got to get that aspect cleaned up, but I was pleased with the way the first units went in there and played. Offensively, we scored a touchdown, and defensively, we had two three-and-outs so that was encouraging.”
