Denver Broncos will take on the San Francisco 49ers at Empower Field at Mile High for an NFL game on Sunday. The Broncos come into this game on the back of a 16-9 win over the Houston Texans and sit in third place on the AFC West table with a 1-1 record. Russell Wilson passed for 219 yards and had one touchdown pass and one interception as he completed 14 of his 31 passes. Tight end Eric Saubert scored a touchdown of his own as the Broncos won the match over the Texans.
Eric Saubert was optimistic about his team’s performances and said after the game, “We’re of the ‘always improving’ mindset. So, we’re going to keep getting better every single week. It’s scary what we can do. You know, we get rid of those penalties, we execute in the end zone, we’ll be a really good team.”
On the other hand, the San Francisco 49ers come into this game on the back of a 27-7 win over the Seattle Seahawks and as a result of that sit at the top of the NFC West table. Quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo passed for 154 yards and had one touchdown pass as he completed 13 of his 21 passes. He also scored one touchdown of his own. Fullback Kyle Juszczyk and tight end Ross Dwelley also scored one touchdown each for San Francisco.
Kyle Juszczyk was full of praise for Jimmy Garoppolo and said after the game, “I thought Jimmy looked great and it felt like Niners football. We’ve been doing this thing for five years. Jimmy’s been around for a long time. I mean, props to him for just being such a professional and being ready to go.”
