The Cleveland Browns will take on the New York Jets at FirstEnergy Stadium for an NFL game on Sunday. The Browns have an overall season record of 1-0 and come into this game on the back of a 26-24 win over the Carolina Panthers in the last game. Jacoby Brissett passed for 147 yards and had one touchdown pass as he completed 18 of his 34 passes. Kareem Hunt ran for 70 yards and scored two touchdowns while Cade York scored 14 points as he successfully converted four of his field goals.

Cade York who was Cleveland’s fourth round pick in the 2022 NFL Draft and was in a jovial mood when he recalled what he told his coach Kevin Stefanski. York said, “The coach always says, ‘Get to the 30-yard line’ in late-game situations. I made the joke about, ‘Just get me to the 40.'”

Jets will look to bounce back after Ravens loss

On the other hand, the New York Jets come into this game on the back of a 24-9 loss to the Baltimore Ravens and sit in third place on the AFC East table. Quarterback Joe Flacco passed for 307 yards and had one touchdown pass and one interception as he completed 37 of his 59 passes. Tight end Tyler Conklin ran for 14 yards and recorded a touchdown for the Jets.

Jets coach Robert Saleh gave his reasons as to why he thought his team lost. Speaking after the game, Saleh said, “You’re not going to beat a veteran team when you’re not capitalizing on the momentum that you gain. From dropped passes to being loose with the football and missed kicks, this is a game, in my opinion, that we absolutely lost.”
