If there’s been one NFL player who’s had Antonio Brown’s back over the past few years, it’s definitely been Tom Brady. However, that bridge might now be burned after the receiver called out the seven-time Super Bowl winner during a Thursday morning rant on Twitter.

In a series of tweets, which have now been deleted, Brown called out Brady for working with Alex Guerrero, who has been Brady’s personal trainer for more than a decade. In one tweet, Brown shared some text messages that he exchanged with Guerrero where the receiver asked the trainer to return 50,000 dollars to him. Apparently, Brown had paid 100,000 dollars for the trainer’s services, but felt that he should get half of the money back because Guerrero didn’t fulfill his end of the deal.

BROWN JUST MAKING THINGS WORSE

Brown then ended the tweet by asking Brady how be can work with “people like this.”

As if that’s not enough, Brown then directly called out Brady in a tweet, “Imagine your QB trainer charging you 100K then doing no work must be was apart of these guys plan all along.”

Basically, Brown makes it sound like Brady and Guerrero were planning to swindle the receiver out of 100,000 dollars “all along.” It’s also worth noting that anyone with an internet connection could have swindled Brown out of 100,000 dollars on Thursday morning because he TWEETED OUT HIS BANK ACCOUNT INFORMATION (It was redacted by ESPN’s Jenna Laine in the tweet above, which is why you can’t see it).

The tweets from Brown came less than 18 hours after he shared a lengthy statement on social media that explained why he was upset with the Buccaneers.

It’s not clear why Brown would turn on Brady, but it sounds like he’s not happy with the financial arrangement he made with the QB’s trainer. Also, Brown apparently wasn’t happy with the amount of targets he got from Brady during the first half of Sunday’s game against the Jets.

This rant against Brady comes less than 72 hours after the quarterback came to Brown’s defense. During his podcast on Monday, Brady was asked about Brown’s shirtless exit from the Jets game and he made it clear that despite the drama, he still cares about his former teammate.

“I’ve known Antonio for a couple years now, you know, pretty closely,” Brady said on the “Let’s Go” podcast, via PFT. “We’ve obviously been teammates and I would just say I love him, I care about him, and I have a lot of compassion. I have a lot of empathy for the things that are happening in his life. So it’s a lot of challenges we all face from time to time. I think the best thing is to have a support system, even outside of football, because again, yeah, we are football players, we’re athletes, we give everything we can on the field, but we also have off field lives, too. And I’m gonna continue to do everything I can to try to be a great friend and supportive to Antonio and the things he’s going through.”

Although Brady said he’s going to do everything he can to be a great friend, it will be interesting to see how the QB responds to Brown’s latest antics. The two players are no longer teammates and that’s because the Buccaneers officially cut Brown on Thursday.
