Their most recent title was in 2008, and their most recent Finals appearance was in 2010, both against the Los Angeles Lakers. After defeating the Miami Heat in game 7, they now have a chance to win their 18th championship. When the Warriors were headquartered in Philadelphia, they reached 11 Finals and won their first BAA championship. In 1947, the Warriors were the first team to win the NBA Finals as a member of the Basketball Association of America. The Warriors ended a 40-year title drought in 2015, after winning in 1956 and 1975, and have been a constant Western Conference participant in the Finals since that.
