Stephen Curry rejects his criticism on 'You ruined the game'

Stephen Curry, the greatest three point shooter in the NBA has been criticized and many analysts don’t like the way Stephen Curry plays the game. The analysts and few of the top basketball pundits feel that the way Stephen Curry has played basketball is ruining the game of basketball.

Curry has brought change and revolution in the game with his long range shooting game, which constantly embarrasses his opponents.

However, old school commentators of the game feel that the golden era of basketball was when shooting three pointers wasn’t as abused as it is today in the game. As the game is evolving day by day, year by year, Season by Season the commentators fail to evolve along with it.

The game has evolved a lot and people should be thankful to players like Stephen Curry who is not as physical and giant looking as LeBron James and Micheal Jordan look but is successful in his own way and his own style of shooting.

Curry gives a fitting reply

In a recent interaction with the press, Curry addressed this exact criticism and also confirmed the reason that he rejects it. Recently Curry said that he gets tagged on social media as “You ruined the game”.

Curry said on The Athletic “Anybody who knows basketball knows where I Stand on that. He also went on to say that it’s an amazing way to play the game of basketball. It opens up the creative side of you and every player playing the game loves to shoot the ball and no one denies the fact that the years and years of hard work they put in on a consistent daily basis to be able to achieve greatness.”

Every player playing the game loves the game and they do feel and get attached to it.

There are few other players than Curry who get accused of ruining the game and the list also includes the king LeBron James but he was accused for the reason of wanting to be part of legendary teams Miami Heat where James was part of playing alongside Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh.

Legendary players like Curry or James will always have to live with that criticism for any mistake they commit and if they start reacting to it too much people do feel they care about the criticism that they are facing and the best way is to avoid all of those as they are the trailblazers of the game.
