Recently, on a road trip to Minnesota Timberwolves, Stephen Curry and the Warriors cruised to a 137-114 win over the Timberwolves. Stephen Curry had 25 points, 11 rebounds, and eight assists. Jordan Poole pitched in 24 points off the bench. The Golden State Warriors used a 47-point first quarter to spark a 137-114 victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves on Sunday. This was not the only win Curry clinched. He gave a young fan the meetup of his lifetime. Curry and the Warriors were on a mission to get a winning record on the road, and they succeeded by crushing the Timberwolves. However, celebrations were not over for young Warrior fan Ladavionne who got the surprise of a lifetime after the game.

 Stephen Curry wanted to meet Ladavionne after the game – his biggest fan who’s been through so much. Ladavionne was recovering from being shot in Minneapolis last year. The young fan was nearly tearing up seeing his favorite superstar in the flesh. Stephen Curry met the young fan and his mother after his second win on the road. Ladavionne’s grandmother, Sharrie Jennings, said, “He hasn’t stopped smiling since we’ve been here, and that is a sign of joy.” Ladavionne is still working on walking and speaking again, but one thing the shooter couldn’t take from him was his love for the Warriors. The four-time NBA champion and two-time MVP, Stephen Curry, was beyond overjoyed and excited seeing the young fan smile when he saw Curry.

Stephan Curry fan gets a bedroom makeover as he meets his idol

Upon seeing Ladvionne struggle through his recovery from a gun shooting incident last year, Stephen Curry just had to meet this fan. The Warriors put Ladavionne Garrett Jr. in a suite. Stephen Curry promised Ladavionne that he would strive to win another championship and thanked him for his support. The Warriors not only secured the win against the Timberwolves for  Ladavionne Garrett Jr. but also met and greeted him. Ladavionne met other NBA stars like Draymond Green and Andre Iguodala. Curry said, “Glad we got the win for you, we thank you so much for the support. Me and the team, we will try and win another championship for you”.

The entire time Stephen Curry was with the 12-year-old fan, he could not stop smiling. This all started when the Warriors discovered  Ladavionne Garrett Jr. and his story from a WCCO story about the birthday surprise where his entire room got a makeover in blue and yellow repping the Warrior colors.
