A four-part documentary series about the life, career, and legacy of Shaquille O’Neal premieres November 23 on HBO Max. O’Neal has lived a life full of glamour and legacy. He won four NBA championships during his time in the NBA. Shaquille O’Neal is a 15-time All-Star and is a two-time scoring champion. He was the rookie of the year in the 1992-93 NBA season and achieved a three-peat with Kobe Bryant and the Los Angeles Lakers between 2000-2002. Shaq is known around the league for his kind heart and dominant basketball skills. As a youngster, Shaquille O’Neal had taken the league by storm, and decades later, a four-part documentary is releasing in his honor to celebrate his career.

​​”We kept this documentary real from the start, and I do feel like it is the most honest look into my life and career up until this point,” said Shaquille O’Neal. “This process allowed me to reflect publicly in a way I haven’t before, and I’m so proud of the work everyone has done to put it all together.” He was named to both the NBA’s 50th and 75th-anniversary teams and is a Hall of Famer. It makes sense why people want to know more about Shaquille O’Neal and his legacy and larger-than-life persona.

Shaquille O’Neal’s documentary series will take a closer look at the life, career, and legacy of the NBA legend, featuring interviews from the likes of Jerry West, Pat Riley, Phil Jackson, Penny Hardaway, and Dwyane Wade. The first episode of “SHAQ” will premiere on HBO at 9:00 p.m. ET on Wednesday, November 23. New episodes will air at the same time on subsequent Wednesdays. Shaquille O’Neal, said “People always say, what do you want your legacy to be? I want to be known as one of the greatest.” Shaq looks back to his days before the NBA and the early parts of his career with this documentary.
