For the Phoenix Suns and many other clubs, the NBA preseason is about to start. Some teams get the chance to travel during this period and perform for foreign supporters in other nations. While that is going on, other teams get to stay in the US and enjoy playing at home. The league does, however, allow groups from other national basketball leagues to take part in exhibition games to liven things up.

On October 2nd, the Suns will open their preseason by playing host to the Adelaide 36ers at the Footprint Center. For those who are acquainted, the 36ers are a group that competes in the National Basketball League of Australia (NBL). Josh Giddey, a bright emerging talent for the Oklahoma City Thunder, formerly played with the 36ers. There are currently no standout players on the 36ers roster. One potential, though, could grab the attention of some NBA scouts.

Sotto still has a chance to fulfill his NBA aspirations, despite this. Even if the game between the 36ers and Suns is simply an exhibition, it nevertheless presents another opportunity for the Filipino prospect to demonstrate his abilities to a much bigger audience. Sotto only averaged 7.5 points and 4.5 rebounds in his debut season with the Australian squad while shooting 50% from the field and 38% from beyond the arc. Although the statistics of some prospects are more remarkable, they nevertheless demonstrate how good the big guy is.
