Zion Williamson registered a double-double for the Pels with 29 points and 10 rebounds while Trey Murphy III scored 20 points with five rebounds and five assists. Naji Marshall came off the bench to score 17 points as the Pelicans won their 16th game of the season.
The Phoenix Suns on the other hand lost their last game 125-98 to the Boston Celtics. Josh Okogie top scored for the Suns off the bench with 28 points while Devin Booker dropped 17 points with five rebounds and three assists. Chris Paul was underwhelming after coming back from a long injury layoff as he scored only 4 points on his return as the Suns lost their ninth game of the season.
