The Memphis Grizzlies will head to the Fiserv Forum for the NBA preseason game against the Milwaukee Bucks on Saturday, October 1st at 8:00 PM ET. Although it’s the preseason, both these sides will be looking to bag a win as it will help them get into the perfect momentum going into the regular season.
The Grizzlies are high on confidence after having finished second in the West last season. They played really well in the playoffs and managed to get into the second round where they met the Golden State Warriors. Despite the loss, analysts believe that the Grizzlies team gave the Dubs a tough challenge in the six-game series. Led by Ja Morant, their goal will be to once again do well in the West. They have the potential to excel but will need all of their players to stay fit in order to do better than last season.
Meanwhile, their opponents on Saturday are a Milwaukee Bucks team that is coming into the 2022-23 season as title contenders. With Giannis Antetokounmpo, Khris Middleton and Jrue Holiday headlining the side, the Bucks certainly are going to be a tough side to beat. They looked really good during the playoffs last season, but Khris Middleton’s injury proved to be a major roadblock in their pursuit of winning a championship. However, the three-time All-Star is now all set to take the court for the Bucks. If he and Giannis are able to get going, the Bucks will be a tough side to beat for any team in the league.
Neither teams have reported any significant injuries ahead of this game. However, considering that it is a preseason game, both coaches will be very careful in assigning minutes to their stars.
