LeBron James is one of the most divisive players in NBA history if not all of sports history. He’s usually either your favorite or your favorite to despise, depending on the situation.

LeBron James is unquestionably one of the greatest to ever step onto the court. With LeBron surpassing Kareem-Abdul Jabbar to become the highest NBA scorer of all time he has cemented himself to be the “GOAT”. LeBron may be the GOAT but wouldn’t you want to know who LeBron thinks is the greatest NBA player?

Don’t get surprised it’s Kevin Garnett the Big Ticket. Kevin Garnett posted a video on his Twitter, where King James himself answers whose the GOAT is. When asked in his rookie season who’s the GOAT, LeBron says, “KG, The BIG TICKET!”

Why is Kevin Garnett called ‘The Big Ticket’

This moniker fit Kevin Garnett so well while he was with the Minnesota Timberwolves that it has lasted with him to this day. They began referring to Garnett as “The Big Ticket” since he was the reason the arena was packed every night. Garnett was the big ticket in town because everyone came out to watch him. Now that he’s in Boston, their four all-stars put on the finest performance in town, but Kevin Garnett remains The Big Ticket.

LeBron James is The Chosen One, says not us it’s his nickname

LeBron James may be referred to as KING James but to be King one must be chosen.

While in Cleveland, LeBron James was given a few nicknames, some of which no longer work and others which I never liked in the first place. The Akron Hammer can’t be used since the entire state of Ohio is against him, and King James has always worried me.

That leaves The L Train (which I like) and The Selected One, which is the most logical choice.

Before he was even a high school senior, LeBron was dubbed “the next big thing in basketball.” He was picked at a young age, hence he is The Chosen One.

Why is LeBron James the new NBA GOAT?

One little basket for man, one huge conclusion to the age-old sports debate. LeBron James eclipsed Kareem Abdul-Jabbar to become the NBA’s all-time top scorer on Tuesday night against the Oklahoma City Thunder, putting an end to a decades-long argument.

There is no need to apologize to those who still believe Michael Jordan is the greatest basketball player to ever play the game; James is now clearly and officially the best to ever do so. This feat, which was completed in front of a boisterous crowd at Crypto.com Arena with 10.9 seconds remaining in the third quarter on a fallaway jumper, wasn’t simply a victory for a superstar; it was the coronation of a King.

James not only surpassed 38,387 points, but he also scored more than 38,387 points in a discussion that is very certainly over. Remove the romantic Bulls-colored glasses, remove the mythology from the men, and the truth thunders down like a signature James tomahawk dunk
