The Brooklyn Nets star player Kyrie Irving who missed the earlier games due to health protocols has made his decision of not getting vaccinated. With Kevin Durant being Sidelined due to MCL Injury and is expected to Miss out for at least four to six weeks according to the report of ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski. The best that the nets can hope is that Durant can return to the earliest after the All- Star break next month. Even after Durant’s injury Kyrie hasn’t changed his decision and he says “I have clearly made up my mind stating I’ve made my decision already and I’m standing on it,” via nets Daily’s Matt Brooks.

Kyrie is one of the last standouts in the league who is yet to be vaccinated for Covid-19 , due to this he is not allowed to play the home games of the nets due to the New York Mandate.

Kyrie’s Decision might impact the results of the Nets

Irving however returned to the court and made his first appearance of the season against the Indiana Pacers and drilled 22 points, three rebounds and four assists on his return.

Kyrie’s role was reversed on his return as he was given a limited time on the court up until now and he would probably get more game time as he moves along.

The Problem is that Irving hasn’t given the reason on why he doesn’t want to get vaccinated which gives protection and immunity.

Irving Via NBCS Sports said, “I stay rooted in my decision. That’s just what it is. It’s not going to be swayed by one thing in this NBA life that is somehow brought to my attention as being more important than what’s going on in the real world. It’s just not happening for me.”

The nets are thankful as eleven of their next sixteen games are on the road as Irving availability is possible for most of the games that the nets play on their road trip.

The trio of James Harden, Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant have played together only two games this season and coach Nash would love to see much of these trio playing together in the games ahead.

The Coach of the Nets via ESPN said, “If they get a bunch of games together, great. If they don’t, they don’t.” He also said that “We can’t cry” about Kevin Durant’s injury.
