The Denver Nuggets will face the Houston Rockets on Monday night. After defeating the Oklahoma City Thunder on Saturday night, the Houston Rockets hope to extend their winning streak to three against the 12-7 Denver Nuggets on Monday. Sophomore guard Jalen Green compiled his best game since his Nov. 14 loss to the Rockets against the Los Angeles Clippers. Over the last six games, Green is averaging 22.0 points, 44.2% shooting percentage, 6.0 assists, and 5.0 rebounds. He went 3-3 with the Rockets. “We’re tired of losing,” said Green. “We are starting to unite and stand in defense. It has helped us a lot.”
The Nuggets are back on the ball in his arena with three wins in their last four games. Jamal Murray, who missed all of last season while recovering from a torn cruciate ligament, is averaging 16.4 points on 42.0 percent shooting and 5.0 assists. Nikolajokic, his two-time league MVP, is averaging 22.4 points, 9.7 rebounds, and 8.8 assists. The Denver Nuggets (12-7) is back after a few days off from a short trip last week. They’re home for a short two-game homestand against the Houston Rockets (5-14) before hitting the streets again. After struggling with injuries for nearly every rotation player, they’ve won his two games here and are top of the Western Conference.

Denver has just 6-4 in his last 10 games, but his four losses came when the team was struggling with injury, illness, or a combination of both. Throughout the year they always looked like he was one of the best players in the league. It was a difficult start to the season for Houston. Despite going 4-6 in their last 10 matches, they have only won 5 and are now on a two-game win streak starting tonight. They have a lot of young talent and that’s what they’re focusing on this season. They weren’t going to win the title. Instead, they focused on improving young players for the future.
