The NASCAR Camping World Truck Series heads to the Nashville Raceway, for the Rackley Roofing 200 on Friday, June 24th.
The NASCAR Camping World Truck Series is a pickup truck racing series owned and operated by the National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing, and is the only series in NASCAR to race production pickup truck based stock cars. The series is one of three national divisions of NASCAR, ranking as the third tier behind the second-tier NASCAR Xfinity Series and the top level NASCAR Cup Series. Camping World has been the title sponsor since 2009; it replaced Craftsman, which served in that role from 1996 through 2008. The series was previously called the NASCAR SuperTruck Series in 1995.
The Craftsman Truck Series from 1996 through 2008, the Camping World Truck Series from 2009 through 2018, the Gander Outdoors Truck Series in 2019, and the Gander RV & Outdoors Truck Series in 2020. The series’ name reverted to Camping World Truck Series starting in 2021. It will be a light weekend for NASCAR as both the Cup and Xfinity Series are off this week. The NASCAR Camping World Truck Series in Nashville will be a single day event with the day starting with practice at 4:00 ET followed by qualifying at 4:30 ET and then the race at 8:00 ET to end the day.
