Siddharth Singh is a common man like any other Indian, who got into the MMA world just to be fit and fulfill his craving to face challenges. Siddharth is a Brazilian Jui-Jutsu specialist who ranks 7th in Asia. He also trains many people in the country and allows them to taste the joy of full-body contact sport. Singh, while speaking to Sportslumo, provided several interesting facts about himself and how he is going to be a part of The Asian Games 2022, which will happen in Hangzhou, China representing India.

Siddharth is the founder of Cross-train Fight club where he teaches many of the techniques of MMA. Also, he is the first and only known Indian to win a brown belt in Brazilian Jui Jutsu. As a boy, Siddharth always was a passionate man. Fights intrigued them, he helped him push his limits and conclusively helped him conquer his fear. His older brother was a well-known boxer in his school and from a young age onwards Siddharth Singh trained to be a boxer.

But as life turned out to be, he would eventually go to the UK to do a mediocre job and live his life like a common man. But, life had different plans for him taking him back to his passion which was the ring, but this time instead of boxing, he preferred doing Jui-Jutsu. So, he got trained and won championships and medals in different parts of the world. Now, he plans to go to Asian Games 2022 and bag a medal for the country.

While speaking to Siddharth, he confirmed he is going to be part of the Asian Games 2022 representing India and also, gave further information on whether Jui-Jutsu will be added to the Olympics in the future. Siddharth Singh said, “Jui-Jutsu is being recognized by the Olympic association, so what that means is… So, there’s been new games are being added to Olympics and Jui Jutsu is gonna be the part of an Asian Games. So, Asian Games are happening in China in… Septmeber, I think. Jui-Jutsu is gonna be part of it and I’m going to represent India in my weight class which will be 69 kg.”

When asked whether there is a chance of Jui-Jutsu being part of the Olympics, he said, “So, how they (Olympic organization) add a new sport is as, the first year will put it (Jui-Jutsu) as a test game. So, they will test it first, then the next step is that they start putting it into competitions, like Asian Games, then if it works well, it has a chance in Olympics. That’s the transition.” Let’s hope we get to see Jui-Jutsu in Olympics. For now, Siddharth is training hard to help India get a medal in Asian Games.
