UP Yoddha started strong with Pardeep Narwal opening the scoresheet with a Super Raid in the first few seconds. The lead, however, was short lived as UP Yoddha picked up their pace with Surender Gill making his first Super Raid of the match. This super raid was followed by the Yoddha’s inflicting an ‘All Out’ on Puneri Paltan in the 13th minute that gave UP Yoddha a slender 1-point lead as the scoreboard read 17-16. The game thereafter saw both the teams playing safe, and the Paltans notching up a few crucial points from the Yoddha’s defensive errors. The first half came to an end with the scoreboard reading 20-20.
