Bengal Warriors is owned by Future Group and are one of the 12 teams participating in the Pro Kabaddi League. The team play their home matches at the Netaji Indoor Stadium, Kolkata West Bengal. They stunned the entire country, winning the title in 2019 led by Surjeet Singh. Bengal Warriors were victorious in Season 7 after beating Dabang Delhi in the final of the tournament. However, their performance dipped in the previous edition as they failed to qualify for the playoffs.

This time around, they have a new star as captain, with Maninder Singh returning to lead the team from the front. . Lee Jang-kun is the only foreign player in the team who played all six seasons in Pro Kabaddi for Bengal Warriors. Season 9 is set to take place in October, with all the teams getting aiming for another grueling season to decide the best team across the country in Kabaddi.
