Check out the full Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 schedule of the Mumbai Indians, including dates, time, venues and fixtures.
Mumbai Indians are the best team when it comes to the Indian Premier League. Under the captaincy of Rohit Sharma, they have won the tournament five times; they are aiming for a sixth win in IPL 2022.
After winning the IPL consecutively in 2019 and 2020, Mumbai Indians’ prospects of a hat-trick evaporated in 2021. They made a solid start during the India leg of IPL 2021. But their form in the UAE leg was poor.
After losing to Chennai Super Kings in the first match of the UAE leg, Mumbai Indians failed to reach the playoffs for the first time since 2018.

Heading into the 2022 edition of the Indian Premier League, Mumbai Indians have retained most of their solid core. They broke the bank for Ishan Kishan when they bought him for Rs 15.25 crore.
Having retained Rohit Sharma, Suryakumar Yadav, Kieron Pollard, and Jasprit Bumrah, Mumbai Indians have more or less retained their core.
Home support for the five-time champions will be high. This is because the tournament is taking place in Mumbai and Pune.
Apart from the likes of Rohit, Suryakumar, Kishan, Bumrah, and Pollard, Mumbai Indians have a solid base of players both young and old.

Dewald Brevis, one of the stars of the ICC Under-19 World Cup 2022 for South Africa, has been a great addition. Apart from that, there are veterans like Jaydev Unadkat who add depth.
But, it is the overseas pace bowling that will be sensational. Jofra Archer, Daniel Sams, Tymal Mills, and Riley Meredith make up a potent combination.
Archer could also have a part to play, meaning Mumbai Indians’ bowling will be absolutely lethal. Few if any teams will fancy coming up against MI, even less so than they did in the previous seasons when MI were already so hard to beat.
