Former England captain Kevin Pietersen joined the star-studded IPL 2022 commentary panel for the official broadcasters from the match between Lucknow Super Giants and Royal Challengers Bangalore at the Dr DY Patil Sports Academy, Mumbai on Tuesday.
Pietersen, announcing his return to the lucrative tournament, tweeted ‘back to work’ on Tuesday. He had put out a picture of his departure on Monday, in which he can be seen inside the flight.
“Very excited to be back in India to do commentary on IPL. Experiencing the best hospitality in the world is something I will never take lightly! See you in a few hours, India!,” is the rough translation of Pietersen’s tweet in Hindi.

Pietersen has been a regular in the pre and post match show of the lucrative tournament for the official broadcasters. He has also been quite active on social media and given his views on various cricket topics in general.
The Englishman was a part of Delhi Daredevils (now Delhi Capitals), Royal Challengers Bangalore, Rising Pune Supergiants, Deccan Chargers and Sunrisers Hyderabad in the lucrative tournament.
