DC wrist-spinner Kuldeep Yadav picked up four wickets to guide his side to a massive win against his former side KKR in the IPL 2022 contest on Sunday.
Delhi Capitals wrist-spinner Kuldeep Yadav (4/35) displayed brilliant bowling performance to bundle out Kolkata Knight Riders to 171 runs and help his side clinch a massive victory by 44 runs in the IPL 2022 contest at the Brabourne Stadium, Mumbai on Sunday.
Chasing a challenging target, KKR openers Ajinkya Rahane (8) and Venkatesh Iyer (18), failed to get their side to a good start.

Incoming batter and captain Shreyas Iyer (54), however, kept KKR in the leather hunt as he forged a 69-run third wicket stand with Nitish Rana (30). Iyer hit five boundaries and two sixes in his 33-ball cameo while Rana smashed three sixes in his 20-ball knock.
Following their dismissals, KKR lost momentum, as they lost wickets — Sam Billings (15), Pat Cummins (4), Sunil Narine (4), Umesh Yadav (0) and Andre Russell (24) — at regular intervals of time.
Apart from Yadav, who was the pick of the bowlers for the capital franchise, fast bowlers Khaleel Ahmed picked up a three-wicket haul while Shardul Thakur added two scalps to his name.
Earlier, openers David Warner (61) and Prithvi Shaw (51) notched up brilliant individual half-centuries to guide Delhi Capitals to 215/5.
The openers combined well to forge a stand of 93 runs which laid the foundation for the Delhi Capitals innings before Shaw was sent packing by Varun Chakravarthy.
Shaw hit seven boundaries and two sixes in his 27-ball quick fire cameo while the fiery Australian opener continued to anchor the innings for the capital franchise.
Warner, later, was involved in a 56-run stand with captain Rishabh Pant (27) who hit two boundaries and as many hits over the fence in his 14-ball knock.
Incoming batters Lalit Yadav (1) and Rovman Powell, however, failed to do much with the bat as KKR bounced back with quick wickets. Warner, also, lost his wicket to follow the suit after a brilliant knock which included six fours and two sixes.
Later, in an interesting move, Shardul Thakur was promoted ahead of Sarfaraz Khan to join Axar Patel in the middle.
Thakur delivered up to the expectations as he remained unbeaten on 29 runs off 11 deliveries in his blinder off a knock while Patel chipped in with an unbeaten 22 from 14 deliveries.
Narine dismissed Yadav and Powell to disallow them to settle in the middle as he returned figures of 2/21.
