Gujarat Titans and SunRisers Hyderabad have looked like the top contenders for IPL 2022.
Gujarat Titans will host SunRisers Hyderabad in the battle for supremacy in the Indian Premier League 2022 clash at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. The franchise have, so far, looked like the top contenders for the IPL 2022.
Debutant franchise Gujarat Titans have made a statement by winning six out of their seven matches under their captain Hardik Pandya while SunRisers Hyderabad have bounced back on track after their initial losses to clinch five wins from seven games.
A win for the Gujarat franchise will mean that they will put their one foot in the IPL 2022 playoffs while a victory for the Kane Williamson-led side will consolidate their position in the playoffs race.
Titans have won their last three matches on the trot while Hyderabad have been unbeaten in their last five clashes. It also means that the winning run for one of the top franchises will come to a halt on Wednesday.
