IPL 2022: Dream11 remains biggest IPL advertisers among 84 new brands

Indian Premier League (IPL) is one of the best T20 tournaments which tries to bridge the gap between domestic and international series. With its increasing popularity, the number of new brands, and categories advertising on IPL 2022 have also increased. However, according to the TAM Sports-IPL Advertising report, a total of 84 New Brands are currently advertising in IPL this year as well.

And, like the last year, this year too the biggest fantasy company in Dream11 continues to be at the top as well. However, as per the report, a total of 84 new brands have advertised on IPL 15 during the first 31 games. The recently-launched app, Tata Neu, has also featured among the new brands including Meesho, Spotify, Winzo Games and Fog as well.

However, based on the 31 matches of IPL 15, the number of categories and advertisers have also increased by 29% and 13%, respectively as well in the last three weeks whereas the number of brands has increased by 7%. Apart from this, the average ad volume per channel has seen a growth of 3% from the last season as well.

However, among all, Dream11 continued to lead the chart this year too. The report also suggested that only four out of the top five categories were common between IPL 14 and 15, in the first 31 games as well. This season, the top five categories have accounted for more or less 40% of all ad volumes. Meanwhile, in both seasons, Sporta Technologies has been the only common name among the top five advertisers as well, including Vini Products, KP Pan Foods, Think& Learn and Tata Digital.
