The Sanderson Farms Championships 2022 will be held in Jackson, Mississippi at the Country Club of Jackson from September 25-October 2 this year. The tournament was introduced back in 1968 in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. It moved to Jackson in 2014. Former winners of the tournament include Sergio Garcia and Cody Gribble. The tournament has been on the PGA calendar for over 50 years since its inception.

In 2021, Sam Burns was in sensational form in the final round pulling away for a 5-under 67 to win the tournament. It it seen as an alternate event to majors such as The Open and the Masters or even the Ryder Cup. But, in recent years the line-up has seen some of the best stars in Mississippi fighting for one of the big tournaments of the season.
