The Wolves are preparing for their third friendly of the summer , while Brentford are getting ready for their fourth one.

The Bundesliga outfit began their pre-season with a dominant 7-1 win over Austrian club WSG Tirol, before getting the better of Mechelen in a seven-goal encounter. After the Brentford game, Wolfsburg will take on Carl Zeiss Jena in the DFB-Pokal first round fixture before beginning their 2022-23 Bundesliga season at home against Werder Bremen. The Wolves have made two notable signings this summer, in the form of Mattias Svanberg and Jakub Kaminski.
Brentford on the other hand, brought in Thomas Strakosha, Aaron Hickey and Keane Lewis-Potter to bolster their squad and challenge for a top-half finish in the upcoming Premier League season. The Bees will also take on Brighton and Real Betis before starting their new Premier League season against Leicester City on August 7. Thomas Frank’s side began their pre-season with a 2-0 win at Boreham Wood, before losing 2-1 at VFB stuttgart and then played out a draw against Strasbourgh.
