Dani Olmo is a Spanish professional footballer who plays for the German club, RB Leipzig. Olmo always seemed destined to spend time at the renowned La Masia youth programme of the Spanish club. He was born in Terrassa, a neighbourhood outside of Barcelona. At age 7, he transferred from local rivals Espanyol. In four of his six seasons at La Masia, Olmo was the best scorer for his age group. However, he made the decision to leave Barcelona to advance his career, signing a professional contract with Croatian club Dinamo Zagreb in the summer of 2014.
