With the summer transfer window just weeks away from reopening, the rumour mill has been busy, linking several big-name players with a move away from their respective clubs. Another summer, another round of speculations for most teams. However, there are some clubs that are genuinely in the market prepared to make a splash. With a lot of names being thrown around, let us look at the three in-demand strikers across Europe in the upcoming window.

Harry Kane (Tottenham Hotspur)

Another season has passed and Harry Kane still continues to be Tottenham Hotspur’s leading man up front. The English centre-forward has been linked with a move away from the London outfit for a very long time, yet he not only continues to stay with them but keeps scoring goals for fun. Kane has once again produced ridiculous numbers in the recently concluded campaign for Tottenham. The English striker has found the back of the net an impressive 32 times in all competitions last season.

Thirty of those strikes have come in the Premier League alone. No wonder he is being rumoured with a move again. This time though Kane is linked with a big money move to Manchester United to be part of Erik ten Hag’s revolution. Some reports indicate that his former manager Mauricio Pochettino would also like to persuade him to Stamford Bridge to be part of his new Chelsea project. With not long left in his contract, it would be interesting to see if Kane will remain at Tottenham by the end of the window.

Victor Osimhen (Napoli)

The Napoli centre-forward has been one of the players to have caught the eye of many in the recently concluded season. Victor Osimhen’s 25 goals in Serie A helped Napoli end their long wait to win the league title. Overall, the Nigerian forward has scored 30 goals this season in all competitions. His impressive goal return has attracted plenty of interests across Europe for his signature. Premier League clubs like Manchester United and Chelsea are linked with him, while Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain are also said to be interested in getting his services. With a lot of money being linked for a potential transfer, it is unclear where Osimhen’s destination will be at the start of the next campaign.

Randal Kolo Muani (Eintracht Frankfurt)

The Eintracht Frankfurt forward might be well known for his big miss in the dying seconds of the Qatar World Cup 2022 for France against Argentina. However, that one missed opportunity cannot define the quality of the French striker. Randal Kolo Muani has been in impressive form for Frankfurt this season. He has made 40 goal contributions across all competitions, which includes 23 goals and 17 assists. His ability to not only score goals but to assist them has made him an attractive option for many teams. German champions Bayern Munich are reported to be favourites to get his signature. However, English clubs like Manchester United and Chelsea are also linked with a move for the French striker.
