Tottenham Hotspur will be looking to make it two wins in a row in the pre-season when they face Sevilla on Saturday. The game that will be played at the Suwon World Cup Stadium in South Korea will be the first match of the summer for the Spaniards. They will have a tough challenge in hand against a Spurs side that will be heading into this clash on the back of an emphatic 6-3 victory over Team K-League a couple of days ago. Both teams finished fourth in their respective leagues last season and are difficult to separate on paper. Hence, it will be tricky to call out a winner in this clash.

Spurs finished last Premier League season on a high note, earning an improbable top-four spot, largely thanks to their closest rival – Arsenal – slipping up. Ultimately, Tottenham earned the fourth spot with 71 points from 38 games. Much of the credit must go to their manager, Antonio Conte, who has transformed the squad since taking over at the start of last season. Meanwhile, Sevilla also played excellently for most parts of last season before they suffered a collapse towards the end of the campaign. Eventually, the Spaniards finished fourth with 70 points from 38 games.

Possible Lineups

Sevilla have just brought in one player all summer – centre-back Marcao. However, the club has seen the departure of Oscar Rodriguez, Luuk de Jong, Diego Carlos and Ludwig Augustinsson. Besides, the loan spell of Manchester United forward Anthony Martial did not go according to plan, hence the Frenchman has returned to Old Trafford and is currently on tour with the Red Devils. Marcao could be involved at some point on Saturday. Their star centre-back Jules Kounde will not be present for the clash due to health reasons.

Meanwhile, Tottenham have been extremely busy in this window so far. The North London club have already signed Ivan Perisic, Fraser Forster, Richarlison, Clement Lenglet and Yves Bissouma. Further names are also being linked with the club by the media. Bissouma and Forster, however, will miss the upcoming clash after testing positive for coronavirus. There are also question marks over the participation of Dejan Kulusevski, Ben Davies and Ivan Perisic.

Tottenham Hotspur possible line-up: Lloris, Royal, Romero, Dier, Sanchez, Sessegnon, Hojbjerg, Skipp, Richarlison, Son, Kane

Sevilla possible line-up: Dmitrovic, Navas, Rekik, Marcao, Acuna, Jordan, Rakitic, Delaney, Lamela, Ocampos, Mir
