The Bees put two goals past West Ham without reply last time out thanks to first-half efforts from Bryan Mbeumo and Yoane Wissa. It was their 13th league-win of the season and the result has helped Brentford to seal their top-10 finish in the English top flight for the first time in their history. As of now, Thomas Frank’s side are sitting at the ninth spot in the standings, with 53 points to their name from 36 games, just four points adrift of their Saturday’s opponents. With two games remaining, the Bees still have an outside chance of securing European football for next season, but their final league-match will be against leaders Manchester City next week.
