Stoke City put two goals past Preston without reply courtesy of second half strikes from Will Smallbone and Tyrese Campbell. It was Stoke’s fifth league-win of the campaign, and they have collected seven points from their last three games. Prior to the win against Preston, the Potters beat second-placed Sheffield United 3-1. Rotherham United, on the other hand, defeated Huddersfield on Saturday, courtesy of goals from Conor Washington and Georgie Kelly. It was Rotherham’s fourth league win of the season. The Millers possess one of the best defensive records in the league, having conceded just 13 times in as many games.

Stoke City boss Alex Neil is likely to stick with the same lineup that took three points against Preston. Campbell could partner Gayle up front with Smallbone operating behind them in a free role. Laurent and Baker are likely to pull the strings in the midfield with Fosu-Henry and Sterling occupying the flanks. As for Rotherham, Eaves and Washington could form the attacking-duo with Wiles, Barlaser and Rathbone forming the midfield-trio.
