Sergio Ramos is a Spanish footballer who plays for Ligue 1 club Paris Saint-Germain and the Spain national team. He is the most decorated center-back in world football who spent 16 impressive seasons with Real Madrid. He also served as a captain for Los Blancos for six seasons. After rising through Sevilla’s youth academy ranks, Ramos joined Real Madrid in the summer of 2005. Ever since he has been at the heart of the club. The Spain international was also a crucial part of the team’s journey during all four UEFA Champions League wins, each in 2014, 2016, 2017, and 2018. Ramos joined Paris Saint-Germain on a free transfer in the year 2021. At the international level, he has represented his country at four World Cups and three European Championships.

Career Achievements

Ramos was in his prime while playing for the Spanish giants, Real Madrid. He won major titles like five La Liga crowns and four UEFA Champions League trophies along with other individual honors with the club. Ramos has even etched his name on being La Liga’s top goalscorer from a defensive position. Internationally, he has won the 2010 FIFA World Cup and the UEFA European Championship in 2008 and 2012. Moreover, the Spaniard has also made over 150 caps – and likewise is the most capped player in the history of the Spain football team.
